Really, You Shouldn't Have

I knew that the University of Houston intended to welcome me to their campus next August when I will start law school there, but to build a Welcome Center for me is really too much.  Stop it.  You're embarrassing me.

The Welcome Center being built by UH will serve as a contact point for campus visitors and prospective students. As a home of academic services, restaurants, retail space, and 1,500 parking spaces, the $25.8 million Welcome Center and parking garage is just one of many building projects slated for completion during the 2005-2006 academic year.

Eva's Dorm Photography Continues To Amaze Me

With Friends And Technology, Home Is Not Too Far Away

Eva, a friend of mine from high school, was kind enough to email me this picture she took of downtown Houston, Texas from her dorm at Moody Towers on the University of Houston campus, which is where I will be starting law school next August. She took this picture one morning with her super awesome mp3 player (I didn't know mp3 players had cameras!!). She wakes up to this every morning -- how lucky is that?! Thanks for the picture, Eva! I'm definitely even more excited to start school this coming fall!!
